Born 28 April 1968, in Droylsden, Manchester.
As a DJ and dancer from a young age, Howard has always been passionate about music.
Howard was spinning records at parties across Manchester when he auditioned for Take That.
He and Jason became the band choreographers and Howard sang lead vocals on the massive number one hit Never Forget.
When the band separated, Howard focused on his love of house music and became DJ HD, playing venues all over the world. He continues to DJ regularly and has also launched a career as a record producer.
Since Take That reunited, Howard performed lead vocals on the tracks Beautiful World and Mancunian Way, the tribute song to the band’s hometown, Manchester.
It was, incontestably, the pop story to end all pop stories, the unlikely triumph to beat all unlikely triumphs.
