Take That In Your Town: Glasgow

The band are currently in Glasgow and you’ve been busy suggesting what they should do in their time off. Here are just a few of the things you’ve been saying…

Falkirk is about half an hours drive east of Glasgow and there you’ll find ‘the Falkirk Wheel’, the world’s only rotating boat lift carrying passangers 115ft up and down between the ‘forth and clyde’ and the ‘union’ canals. It’s pretty amazing to watch and you can book a boat trip on it too.

There is a really nice country park in the south side of Glasgow, it is called “Pollok Coutry Park”. It has interesting activities to do with the family and there is  a private art collection called Burrel Collection which is really good.

Loch Lomond because it is nice and peaceful, so they will feel relaxed inbetween all the madness of the tour

Head north through the lovely traditional village of Killearn and sample the lovely Scottish food in the tea room, then head into the Campsie Fells, pretty and peaceful and without the hoards of tourists.

    Saw the concert Sunday 21st June in Glasgow ABSOLUTELY AMAZING worth the wait. Went with my friend and we were at the mini stage what a view could almost touch them and got some great pics. WELL DONE BOYS for putting on a spectacular show can’t wait until the next time. Mark Owen is still cute as ever Lvya L xxxxxxxxxxx

    I was at Hampden Friday and Saturday. Was right at the front of the b stage at the back and had the night of my life. What a show it was amazing. Even getting soaked from head to toe at Back For Good i didn’t care. I have never seen a show like it and I have seen a few in my time! Am 30 yrs old and i felt like i was 13 again! Was so good. Well Done boys. Can;t wait to see u at wembley on ur last night!

    Saw you on the 19th at Hampden. You made me feel like a teenager again!!! I am 33 and felt like a silly school girl as I came away demanding I wanted tickets for the other 2 nights!!!!! My husband laughed at me and said he had never seen me enjoying myself soooooo much.. thanks guys you have helped me a lot through a though time. xxx I love you all for it. I recorded your christmas show on TV and have been watching it most days since. It was very similar only your live tour was much better. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    You’re back in manchester woohoo. The best places to go are the imperial war museum, the lowry outlet (it has a cadburys shop yum yum), pizza express (went there tonight), the trafford centre, tai wu (which is a chinese restaurant on Oxford road it’s very very good). See you on the 24th june

    The concert 21st june Glasgow was amazing everything from The Script (missed Gary go). The show that Take That put on was spectacular!! So glad I was there. Been to many gigs at Hampden and like many have enjoyed a few drinks beforehand. However this was the first gig to that I have persistantly been banged into had drinks spilled over me. Middle aged steaming female dressed in what was white before she had fallen int and spilt her drink over everyone unfortunate to be around her. You know who you are and there were many more casualties like you! I have never seen so many near fights or expected them at a Take that Concert! I’m Scottish , had a drink before I went enjoyed myself but did not bother anyone else.Pity others didn’t do the same!

    was at hampden last nite 21 june it was ABSOLUTLEY FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ive been on high cause of the concert but also a bit low cause it is going to be another year before i can see them live again!!!!!

    oh my god i saw you guys for the first time at HAMDEN SAT 2OTH i loved you’s the first time around but never got the chance now i have.best show ever will carry the meories forever i got close to front too xx
