Gary Barlow and The Commonwealth Band

To celebrate The Queen's Diamond Jubilee, Gary has joined forces with musicians from across the Commonwealth to record a very special album, titled 'Sing'.

The title track is written by Gary Barlow and Andrew Lloyd Webber and features Gareth Malone and the Military Wives, alongside artists from across the Commonwealth including the Solomon Islands Police Force Band, Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Slum Drummers from Kenya's Kibera slum.

You'll also spot Prince Harry playing the tambourine in the official video for 'Sing', which you can now watch exclusively over on MSN HERE.

The album also include a special version of 'Sing' with just Gary on vocals and his recording of 'Here Comes The Sun', that you can currently hear on the latest Marks and Spencer TV advert. Listen to a preview of all the tracks on the album here.

Congratulations Gary for the remarkable Jubilee concert tonight. You must have worked incredibly hard for months, if not years. The only thing that was missing was TAKE THAT. Your band was there sounding fantastic, Robbie was there, you were there but a bit too briefly. Take That would have out-shone everyone else. You definately deserve a break, but hopefully not for too long! Lots of love. XXX

There was an immediate identification between us and "Sing". Obviously the British due to the Jubilee but the rest of us because "Sing" is emotions and feelings common to all mankind. You have the innate ability of the great songwriters, the ability to put your feelings into a melody and lyrics and make us identify with Them to the point that they are like our own and in fact they are but we just doesnt know how to express them by ourselves. You gave us voice again. Thank you so much.
