Your all-time favourite Take That lyrics: Part One

Last week, we asked you for your favourite Take That lyrics of all time – perhaps a certain lyric has a personal meaning for you, a rhyme that you love, or there’s one that you just think is a brilliant, memorable line!

Well, we’ve loved reading through all of your responses on the forum this week, and we’ve chosen a few of our favourites to showcase on the Take That homepage! Have a read below…

Mine has got to be ‘Its A Moment Of Glory… My One And Only… Its You’ means alot to me that lyric does, makes me think of someone special who i miss dearly ‘You’ will always be a special song to me and gary’s voice sounds so amazing on that track melts me every time xxxx

‘Let it shine just let it shine, let it shine’ – It’s a great song with a great chorus, it’s just so up beat and makes you want to sing along!

‘There’s nobody else, in this world, that could love you more. Nobody could love you, anymore than i do. I’m still here for you’. It is just so beautiful. Like i said there are so many great songs by the lads but that line is one of the most sincere and romantic.

The song “Butterfly” is one of my all time favourites and it reminds me of my little brother so it’s special to me. The lyric that means so much is: ‘You’ll always be a part of me, in my heart you’ll alway be….butterfly, fly….fly away’.

I love all of the lyrics, but my favourite lyrics have to be, Aint No Sense In Love, the whole song really, but mainly this line : ‘I’m afraid of the mornin, i’m afraid of the light, you should come with awarning, yeah you should be wearing a sign.’

    Cause I…. need time… my heart is numb has no feeling, so while I’m still healing, just try and have a little patience… This lyric has a special meaning to me, I just love it.

    my most meaningful line is “cos you are always on my mind , yea you are always on my mind for life”. Th reason is my precious son died 6 years ago and this line says it all.

    Mine Would Probably Be Beautiful World, “I’ll Be The Stars Guiding You, I’ll Be The Place That You Hide, Id Run A Thousand Miles, To Be By Your Side” I Think Those Lyrics Have So Many Meanings, And Makes The Song Even More Amazing Than It Actually Is :) x

    So many amazing songs …
    Is hard to say which lyric or rhyme is my all-time favorite but maybe “Said It All” line ‘All of the miles of words we’ve spoken,all of the lines that got away.Didn’t we take the time to say them all?’ Also “Rule The World” and ‘All the stars are coming out tonight,they’re lighting up the sky tonight for you,for you…’ these two are special for me.
    I have to say “Shine” is a great song and makes me believe in every single word.:-)
