Wembley Stadium

London, UK - Thursday, 30 June 2011

On Tuesday October 26th, the most exciting reunion in British pop history gathered speed as dates for a brand new Take That Tour, Progress Live 2011, were announced at a press conference in London.

Gary, Howard, Jason, Mark and Robbie confirmed that they will hit the road next year for a monumental 14-date summer stadium tour around the UK before heading to Europe for a further six shows. Progress Live 2011, is the band's biggest tour yet and will be the first time they have toured together as a five-piece since 1995.

For info on transport and how to get the venue, click here.

Note:

In order to accommodate an extra date at Wembley, it has been necessary to reschedule the planned show on Sunday 3rd July for Thursday 30th June. The promoters apologise for the inconvenience this may cause but tickets remain valid for customers who have already bought them for Sunday 3rd July. Anyone who cannot make the rescheduled date is eligible for a full refund from their point of purchase.

The band commented, "We are really sorry to have to move the dates in London but we'd heard that there was a lot of disappointment from those not being able get tickets and this was the only way that we could fit in another show. We hope everyone understands and look forward to seeing you all next year."

Age: Under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult. No Under 5’s.

Delighted to have finally got tickets, waited for such a long time (two unsuccessful attempts when they were first released). Thrilled with date change, i wouldnt have got the tickets if it werent for that. Yay :)

Really upset at the date change. Coming all the way from the USA and booked the Sunday specifically because of flight availibility and time off (it's a holiday weekend here). Now struggling to get flights that will work.

I love Take That - but I am so dissapointed with the date changes. My daughter is taking A levels and my sister-in-law works in a school - how can we go midweek? I understand the need for more tour dates, but I've checked all dates and can't find a gig on Sunday 3rd July - does this really mean the lad's have changed our dates so they can have a day off?? Really disappointing lads. :(

I am sorry TakeThat this is not acceptable. I specifically booked the Sunday night as it was a weekend. I don't see how you can change to a midweek and expect people to be happy with this? Is TakeThat going to pay for me to take a days annual leave now?

I had already booked a non-refundable plane ticket for me and my sister to fly from Germany to London for the weekend to see the show. I now have to decide whether to get the money refunded for the show tickets but also to lose the money on the plane ticket or to buy a completely new set of plane tickets on top of the ones already purchased. It is very unfair to everyone who had already made plans to be in London on 3rd July.

Oh boys! you've never let me down before! Now we have to take leave from work (if we can get it) to attend mid week instead of on a Sunday ~ couldn't you just have added to extra dates without cancelling ones already planned and sold out? I understand you had disappointed fans but now you have more of them ~ tickets, travel, day off work, it all adds up and most of us are not on band's salaries. Think again please guys ~ this is gonna tick off a lot of dedicated followers.

How change you switch my Sunday tickets to a midweek ones!! Am I now taking a day off work in addition to all the other expense?? I got my act together and got these tickets within an hour of them going on sale. How can you change it to please those that aren't as organised!!

I have spent an absolute fortune on the disabled access booking line. You HAVE to listen to a recorded message of over a minute to constantly get cut off afterwards. Are you seriously telling me that this line is still so busy, 25 hours later? I am furious as we have no choice but to use this phone line and we have been charged a fortune. Shame on you Ticketmaster, I will be complaining.

Shame on all the ticketing agencies. The "overwhelming demand for tickets" was entirely predictable, so all the websites crashing is completely unacceptable. Have been on all the websites all morning, finally got as far as saying how many tickets I wanted, and yet again the site crashed. What a frustrating waste of time. : (

My mum and I were logged on from 8.45 one on the pc and one a laptop. system crashed constantly so we were hitting the refresh button over and over. I had a screen open for every vendor recommended on the tt site. finally got thru 3 hours later and managed to get g/a tickets. being 9 months pregnant and about to give birth anyday i could have done without the stress! it is so frustrating that so many end up on ebay. keep trying, you never know!!!

my husband and I have been trying since 9am to get through on the special needs disabled access line to book tickets for our daughter without sucess. This is a joke, you go through herar the recorded message which does not refer to any problems with the systems ticketmaster are having, and then cuts you off.

We cannot book these tickets via the internet and with only a limited number of wheelchair places we are going to be very lucky if we can now get any tickets.

I am most disappointed with the organisers/ticket companies etc any suggestions???

maybe they will add extra London dates and let those of us who were disappointed this time have priority booking?

I was looking forward to having a girlie day out with my daughters!!

For all those genuine fans who did manage to get tickets, I sincerely hope you have a great time.

Agree with Phillipa completely. It happens every time a Take That concert is announced, and I for one am fed up of spening half the day trying to find tickets, refreshing pages, getting service unavailable messages, waiting in virtual queues, and then seeing tonnes of tickets being sold on ebay, and other non-official vendor sites. Surely something could be done. I hope more dates are announced for London, because it's looking increasingly likely that by the time I do get a stable website to look for tickets on, that they will be sold out.

having been online since 9am this morning to be faced with server failure or connection problems at all of the ticket websites, may I ask what is being done to improve the sale of tickets?

Surely the demand for these tickets could have been forecast and systems put in place so that fans are only let down by the speed of sales and not technical hitches.
